Someone went through the trouble of dubbing Basshunter's "DotA" video >_>
Oh my, how silly those lyrics are.
I need new pictures of myself. Who wants to take pictures of me in fun/exciting locations, etc?
Just want some new pictures for MySpace/Facebook.
Speaking of Facebook...I added a bunch of people from Buena '03, and it's nice to hear from some of them. It's a little depressing though in the sense that a lot of the people I spent time with in High School are about to graduate college, and in all reality I am just getting started. Oh well...
I just have to try to not let it get me down.
As much as I hate speculating on rumors and such, this one is just getting really really big. I'm linking articles from the Blizzard fansite I used to work on, so they are pretty trust worthy and know their stuff, but also the "big name" blogs are also posting about this (namely Kotaku).
http://sc.gosugamers.net/news/6151/100 (StarCraft 2 to be announced May 19)
http://sc.gosugamers.net/news.php?id=6168 (Confirmed, new Blizzard product at World Wide Invitational)
With all of these pointing to it coming out (and sooner rather than later) I really don't see why Blizzard WOULDN'T do this. I know so many people (myself included) who would quit WoW to play this game. We've been waiting almost ten years for this (2008 will be the ten year anniversery of StarCraft, convinient eh?) and there is no better place to announce it than in South Korea.
Oh man I hope this is true, because if it isn't and ends up being Diablo III or World of StarCraft (ugh!) I would be very very sad.
Make the right move Blizzard!
I've had this Vox account for a while, just may use it for posting because I know a lot of people prefer Vox over LJ but I will of course keep my LJ account for commenting and the communities :)
Cross posted from my LJ:
So apprently the assistant manager who was in training at my store that
left a few weeks ago to go to a different store is back, dunno if he's
permanent or anything...but I guess I'm closing with him tommorow night
instead of
jsetradio
who is an awesome guy, and I heard he was coming back to my store
(where he belongs!) and apparently our DM decided to move him back to
his original store (the one by B&N).
I like how they do all this shifting right before the holiday season is starting, just freaking brilliant. Oh and I forgot to say, I'm not a fan of this guy who I'm working with. He's everything that I don't want to be, 30ish, living at home, etc. I mean...c'mon. He's TERRIBLY slow at closing (like we don't even get out till about 10) and screws up on the easiest tasks.
I'm thinking about applying for a transfer to the other store, but I dunno. Guess I'll just have to 'tough it out' with this screwball.
Also: I'm not the only one who doesn't like him. He also likes to pressure people into getting the magazine subscription (which GameStop SWEARS by) and he has nearly ruined a few of my good transactions. Ugh...not looking forward to this.
What was the last game you played?
I actually went and played Castlevania: Circle of the Moon which is a really really great GBA game. Playing it on my DS lite right now which I'm loving.
Speaking of my DS lite, here's a picture of it.
What are your plans for the holiday weekend?
Uh, play World of WarCraft and then possibly go out to the arcade or something.
Yup, that's about it!
No joke, I submitted this picture of Heather and myself a while back, and lo and behold, we have made it onto the ThinkGeek/Penny-Arcade store page!

I thought it was pretty cool!
So I haven't updated this thing in a while, and I should do it more often.
Anyways, life is...meh right now. School starts for me tommorow, and I also need to look for a new job. I definetly am feeling lose to how Michael is feeling...like I'm in a rut or something. I feel trapped in Ventura, like I can't get out...but there are things and people I just don't want to leave.
Also I'm not sure if I've exactly coped with the fact that my family has moved. It is just SO alone in my grandparents house (they're on vacation right now), and it just...let's me think a lot I guess.
I really should get to sleep now, I am really starting to feel tired. Hopefully I can finish this thought tommorow. I'll leave you with this great photo of Michael and myself with the creators of the great Penny-Arcade.
Now that I have "the real internet", as Michael so eloquently puts it, I've been *ahem* aquiring some more music. Yes the album on the right you see there is in fact Madonna "Confessions on a Dance Floor." I really love dance music and this is one of the best dance albums to come out in a long while, and I will be purchasing this album at some point because it is, in fact, that great.
Everyone should listen to it, it's fun and has a really catchy beat, and heck this is the first time in a while I've seen a dance music video played on MTV or the like.
Other than that, life is pretty good. I don't do a whole lot on the weekends, just play World of WarCraft pretty much. By best friend Matt transfered his Paladin over to my server and is trying to get into my guild, I'm hoping I can get him in.
Anyways, I need to get to sleep, getting up around 9 to go to church with Heather tommorow.

Jimmy.Jimmy..Holy shit. Starcraft. It's like the one RTS that I really, really love. I've played SC and SC:BW over and... read more
on Rumor: StarCraft 2 this year...
